Proceed with your online application at www.vut.ac.za and submit all required information and documents
Pay application fee using your student number as reference and upload proof of payment
IMPORTANT APPLICATION NOTES:
- To avoid disappointment, prospective students are urged to apply as soon as possible
- Initial selection will be based on final Grade 11 or latest Grade 12 results
- Make sure that VUT offers the course you are interested in and that you adhere to the admission requirements
- Application forms without proof of payment will not be accepted

Certified copy of South African ID document OR Certified copy of passport for International applicants
Certified copy of Grade 11 or latest Grade 12 report (e.g., June examination) OR Certified copy of complete results for International applicants
Proof of address (Not compulsory but recommended)
Proof of payment for application fee (R110 SA / R120 International)

Minimum Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum APS score as specified per programme
- Specific subject requirements for certain programmes
- Initial selection based on final Grade 11 or latest Grade 12 results
Registration & Fees
Registration Payment Information
Payment can be made at any Absa branch or Absa ATM at least an hour before starting registration process. If payment is made from another bank, it must be done at least 48 hours before starting registration.
Confirmed NSFAS funded students and other sponsored students may not be required to pay the Registration fee.

National students: R2,500.00 registration fee
International students: Total annual tuition fees (100%)
Confirmed NSFAS funded students and other sponsored students may be exempt from registration fee payment.
